There is something about spring weather that makes you look forward to summer. One of the things we get the itch to do is plant things. If your Alexa, that means planting tomatoes. Alexa loves tomatoes. She has been known- much to my horror- to ask guests to dinner to give her the tomatoes off their plates. Something about being so cute and sweet just makes them hand them over too. Alexa had her very own tomato plant growing in the backyard last summer, and this year she has her sights set on more.
I picked her up a packet of seeds when I was at the grocery store this weekend and today she got going on planting them. They may not be able to get outside for a lot more months, but there is no reason not to get a jump start on some summer vegetables.
As you can see our window sill is now full of plants pots.
Tomatoes yum, yum, yum.
